The
Smoky Mountain Romance Writers sponsors two writing contests each year - The
Laurie for unpublished writers, and The Laurie Award for Published Authors every
other year(2010 will be the next Published Laurie year).
All of our judges for the Laurie are trained and our score sheets are reviewed
yearly to make sure we offer comprehensive feedback for the entries.
